8 Remember that thou wast a slave in Egypt, and the Lord thy God delivered thee from thence. Therefore I command thee to do this thing.


1 For the scripture saith: Whosoever believeth in him, shall not be confounded.


9 Thou believest that there is one God. Thou dost well: the devils also believe and tremble.


One is as it were rich, when he hath nothing: and another is as it were poor, when he hath great riches.


3 With my lips I have pronounced all the judgments of thy mouth.


0 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy son's daughter, or thy daughter's daughter: because it is thy own nakedness.


1 Was the law then against the promises of God? God forbid. For if there had been a law given which could give life, verily justice should have been by the law.
