29 These are the precepts, and ceremonies, and judgments, which the Lord your God commanded that I should teach you, and that you should do them in the land into which you pass over to possess it:

And I said: I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength without cause and in vain: therefore my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.


And to Dathan and Abiron the sons of Eliab, who was the son of Ruben: whom the earth, opening her mouth swallowed up with their households and tents, and all their substance, which they had in the midst of Israel.


And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.


And spoke to him, saying: Tell us, by what authority dost thou these things? or, Who is he that hath given thee this authority?


5 And these are the testimonies and ceremonies and judgments, which he spoke to the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt,


1 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife: nor his house, nor his field, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is his.


By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; as unknown, and yet known;


Do not they blaspheme the good name that is invoked upon you?


2 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.


0 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as needy, yet enriching many; as having nothing, and possessing all things.


2 If I had not come, and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.


6 If then thy whole body be lightsome, having no part of darkness; the whole shall be lightsome; and as a bright lamp, shall enlighten thee.


2 And I will take the remnant of Juda that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt, and to dwell there: and they shall be all consumed in the land of Egypt: they shall fall by the sword, and by the famine: and they shall be consumed from the least even to the greatest, by the sword, and by the famine shall they die: and they shall be for an execration, and for a wonder, and for a curse, and for a reproach.


8 In that day the Lord will take away the ornaments of shoes, end little moons,


0 And he saved them from the hand of them that hated them: and he redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.


May he give thee according to thy own heart; and confirm all thy counsels.


And she went down to the barnfloor, and did all that her mother in law had bid her.


2 Thou shalt make strings in the hem at the four corners of thy cloak, wherewith thou shalt be covered.


8 And when after most diligent inquisition, they shall find that the false witness hath told a lie against his brother:


If there rise in the midst of thee a prophet or one that saith he hath dreamed a dream, and he foretell a sign and a wonder,


0 Beware lest thou imitate them, after they are destroyed at thy coming in, and lest thou seek after their ceremonies, saying: As these nations have worshipped their gods, so will I also worship.


3 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in and give us the land, concerning which he swore to our fathers.


And thou shalt bind them as a sign on thy hand, and they shall be and shall move between thy eyes.


Let your manners be without covetousness, contented with such things as you have; for he hath said: I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.


That thou mayst fear the Lord thy God, and keep all his commandments and precepts, which I command thee, and thy sons, and thy grandsons, all the days of thy life, that thy days may be prolonged.


Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength.


4 And he conducted them with a cloud by day: and all the night with a light of


4 Saying: No, but we will go into the land of Egypt: where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor suffer hunger: and there we will dwell.


Neither is there any other nation so great, that hath gods so nigh them, as our God is present to all our petitions.


5 Keep therefore your souls carefully. You saw not any similitude in the day that the Lord God spoke to you in Horeb from the midst of the fire:


2 And he wrought signs and wonders great and very grievous in Egypt against Pharao, and all his house, in our sight,


1 Take heed, and beware lest at any time thou forget the Lord thy God, and neglect his commandments and judgments and ceremonies, which I command thee this day:


7 Because the Lord your God he is the God of gods, and the Lord of lords, a great God and mighty and terrible, a who accepteth no person nor taketh bribes.


The signs and works which he did in the midst of Egypt to king Pharao, and to all his land,


3 And Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and he pleased all: and all Israel obeyed him.


We will rejoice in thy salvation; and in the name of our God we shall be exalted.


But you like men shall die: and shall fall like one of the princes.
