6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed so much as one word of all the good things that he promised by his servant Moses.


2 And the cities of Juda, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall go, and cry to the gods to whom they offer sacrifice, and they shall not save them in the time of their affliction.


4 Butter of the herd, and milk of the sheep with the fat of lambs, and of the rams of the breed of Basan: and goats with the marrow of wheat, and might drink the purest blood of the grape.


And returning from the mount, I came down, and put the tables into the ark, that I had made, and they are there till this present, as the Lord commanded me.


8 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.


It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

9 To deliver their souls from death; and feed them in famine.


The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:


And I will write on the tables the words that were in them, which thou brokest before, and thou shalt put them in the ark.


But God, (who is rich in mercy,) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us,


0 Which he wrought in Christ, raising him up from the dead, and setting him on his right hand in the heavenly places.


5 And the king of Egypt spoke to the midwives of the Hebrews: of whom one was called Sephora, the other Phua,


And Moses told all this to the children of Israel: but they did not hearken to him, for anguish of spirit, and most painful work.


2 Beware thou never join in friendship with the inhabitants of that land, which may be thy ruin:


1 eep therefore the precepts and ceremonies and judgments, which I command thee this day to do.


But of them that chew the cud, but divide not the hoof, you shall not eat, such as the camel, the hare, and the cherogril: because they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof, they shall be unclean to you.


Therefore when you are passed over the Jordan, set up the stones which I command you this day, in mount Hebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster:


4 And it shall be broken small, as the potter's vessel is broken all to pieces with mighty breaking, and there shall not a sherd be found of the pieces thereof, wherein a little fire may be carried from the hearth, or a, little water be drawn out of the pit.


8 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments: thy peace had been as a river, and thy justice as the waves of the sea,


I Nabuchodonosor was at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace:


6 Commanding them: When you shall do the office of midwives to the Hebrew women, and the time of delivery is come: if it be a man child, kill it: if a woman, keep it alive.
