8 And when the Lord had heard this, he said to me: I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they spoke to thee: they have spoken all things well.


2 And thou shalt appoint certain limits to the people round about, and thou shalt say to them: Take heed you go not up into the mount, and that ye touch not the borders thereof: every one that toucheth the mount dying he shall die.


7 The similitude of any beasts, that are upon the earth, or of birds, that fly under heaven,


8 They prevented me in the day of my affliction: and the Lord became my protector.


For thou art the most high Lord over all the earth: thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods.


5 He shot arrows and scattered them: lightning, and consumed them.


7 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall escape the sword of Hazael, shall be slain by Jehu: and whosoever shall escape the sword of Jehu, shall be slain by Eliseus.
