2 Joseph is a growing son, a growing son and comely to behold; the daughters run to and fro upon the wall.


4 And his fame went throughout all Syria, and they presented to him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and such as were possessed by devils, and lunatics, and those that had palsy, and he cured them:


2 How long wilt thou be dissolute in deliciousness, O wandering daughter? for the Lord hath created a new thing upon the earth: A WOMAN SHALL COMPASS A MAN.


Trust in the Lord, and do good, and dwell in the land, and thou shalt be fed with its riches.


1 And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets: and he called them.


He will overshadow thee with his shoulders: and under his wings thou shalt trust.


But I tell you that there is here a greater than the temple.


9 Blessed are thou, Israel: who is like to thee, O people, that art saved by the Lord? the shield of thy help, and the sword of thy glory: thy enemies shall deny thee, and thou shalt tread upon their necks.
