These are the nations which the Lord left, that by them he might instruct Israel, and all that had not known the wars of the Chanaanites:


0 He found him in a desert land, in a place of horror, and of vast wilderness: he led him about, and taught him: and he kept him as the apple of his eye.


7 My God will cast them away, because they hearkened not to him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.


Gather yourselves together, and hear, O ye sons of Jacob, hearken to Israel your father:


2 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of the Lord, by which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with the burning heat?


1 They shall perish, but thou shalt continue: and they shall all grow old as a garment.


0 For therefore we labor and are reviled, because we hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of the faithful.


8 Being grieved most of all for the word which he had said, that they should see his face no more. And they brought him on his way to the ship.


2 Amen, I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all things be fulfilled.


6 And thou shalt come upon my people of Israel like a cloud, to cover the earth. Thou shalt be in the latter days, and I will bring thee upon my land: that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.


2 When you came to appear before me, who required these things at your hands, that you should walk in my courts?


Then Sophar the Naamathite answered, and said:


9 And he called together all the ancients of Juda and Jerusalem.


5 That thou mightest know that the Lord he is God, and there is no other besides him.


1 And the earth was corrupted before God, and was filled with iniquity.


1 And the Lord was angry with me for your words, and he swore that I should not pass over the Jordan, nor enter into the excellent land, which he will give you.


They have sinned against him, and are nose of his children in their filth: they are a wicked and perverse generation.


5 Without, the sword shall lay them waste, and terror within, both the young man and the virgin, the sucking child with the man in years.


4 Are not these things stored up with me, and sealed up in my treasures?


And from the first year of Darius the Mede I stood up that he might be strengthened and confirmed.


0 Let me alone, that my wrath may be kindled against them, and that I may destroy them, and I will make of thee a great nation.
