3 He saith to them: My chalice indeed you shall drink; but to sit on my right or left hand, is not mine to give to you, but to them for whom it is prepared by my Father.


4 But shalt give him for his way out of thy flocks, and out of thy barnfloor, and thy winepress, wherewith the Lord thy God shall bless thee.


1 That all Israel hearing may fear, and may do no more any thing like this.


3 And the land shall be made desolate, because of the inhabitants thereof, and for the fruit of their devices.


3 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and queens thy nurses: they shall worship thee with their face toward the earth, and they shall lick up the dust of thy feet. And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, for they shall not be confounded that wait for him.


The man that with a stiff neck despiseth him that reproveth him, shall suddenly be destroyed: and health shall not follow him.


3 Withhold not correction from a child: for if thou strike him with the rod, he shall not die.


0 Bless the Lord, all ye his angels: you that are mighty in strength, and execute his word, hearkening to the voice of his orders.


And gave thee thy master's house and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and Juda: and if these things be little, I shall add far greater things unto thee.


6 But whereunto shall I esteem this generation to be like? It is like to children sitting in the market place.


8 If thou wilt not keep, and fulfil all the words of this law, that are written in this volume, and fear his glorious and terrible name: that is, The Lord thy God:


0 And he shall bring back on thee all the afflictions of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of, and they shall stick fast to thee.
