6 And they shall be as signs and wonders on thee, and on thy seed for ever.

And this man shall be our peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land, and when he shall set his foot in our houses: and we shall raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

The lamp despised in the thoughts of the rich, is ready for the time appointed.


And Moses called all Israel, and said to them: You have seen all the things that the Lord did before you in the land of Egypt to Pharao, and to all his servants, and to his whole land.


3 Be the heaven, that is over thee, of brass: and the ground thou treadest on, of iron.


4 And the Lord said to Moses: Fear him not, for I have delivered him and all his people, and his country into thy hand: and thou shalt do to him as thou didst to Sehon the king of the Amorrhites, the inhabitant of Hesebon.


6 The Lord shall bring thee, and thy king, whom thou shalt have appointed over thee, into a nation which thou and thy fathers know not: and there thou shalt serve strange gods, wood and stone.


Daleth. He hath bent his bow as an enemy, he hath fixed his right hand as an adversary: and he hath killed all that was fair to behold in the tabernacle of the daughter of Sion, he hath poured out his indignation like fire.


You have cast out the women of my people from their houses, in which they took delight: you have taken my praise for ever from their children.


3 If I have despised to abide judgment with my manservant, or my maidservant, when they had any controversy against me:
