When there shall be found among you within any of thy gates, which the Lord thy God shall give thee, man or woman that do evil in the sight of the Lord thy God, and transgress his covenant,


4 Cursed be he that secretly killeth his neighbour: and all the people shall say: Amen.


Thou shalt not molest a stranger, for you know the hearts of strangers: for you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.


1 The day shall come, that thy walls may be built up: in that day shall the law be far removed.


Arise, and let us go up in the night, and destroy her houses.


1 And your strength shall be as the ashes of tow, and your work as a spark: and both shall burn together, and there shall be none to quench it.


2 And you came all to me, and said: Let us send men who may view the land, and bring us word what way we shall go up, and to what cities we shall go.


2 Six days thou shalt work: the seventh day thou shalt cease, that thy ox and thy ass may rest: and the son of thy handmaid and the stranger may be refreshed.


If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lie underneath his burden, thou shalt not pass by, but shalt lift him up with him.


5 And if a brother or sister be naked, and want daily food:


2 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape, as a dove upon him; and a voice came from heaven: Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.


3 Your words have been unsufferable to me, saith the Lord.


Thus saith the Lord of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem: and every man with his staff in his hand through multitude of days.


Who were clothed with blue, princes, and rulers, beautiful youths, all horsemen, mounted upon horses.


5 And I will disperse thee in the nations, and will scatter thee among the countries, and I will put an end to thy uncleanness in thee.


1 For thus saith the Lord to Sellum the son of Josias the king of Juda, who reigned instead of his father, who went forth out of this place: He shall return hither no more:


3 Thy tacklings are loosed, and they shall be of no strength: thy mast shall be in such condition, that thou shalt not be able to spread the flag. Then shall the spoils of much prey be divided: the lame shall take the spoil.


3 And looking-glasses, and lawns, and headbands, and fine veils.


5 As he came forth naked from his mother's womb, so shall he return, and shall take nothing away with him of his labour.


2 She will render him good, and not evil, all the days of her life.


8 Remember that thou wast a slave in Egypt, and the Lord thy God delivered thee from thence. Therefore I command thee to do this thing.


1 But then shalt stand without, and he shall bring out to thee what he hath.


And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:


If there be a controversy between men, and they call upon the judges: they shall give the prize of justice to him whom they perceive to be just: and him whom they find to be wicked, they shall condemn of wickedness.


1 And didst thou think that thou shouldst not see darkness, and that thou shouldst not be covered with the violence of overflowing waters?


Who are wet, with the showers of the mountains, and having no covering embrace the stones.


3 If you hurt them they will cry out to me, and I will hear their cry:
