The king, that sitteth on the throne of judgment, scattereth away all evil with his look.


4 He that is partaker with a thief, hateth his own soul: he heareth one putting him to his oath, and discovereth not.


Because of the cold the sluggard would not plough: he shall beg therefore in the summer, and it shall not be given him.


Thou shalt not pass by if thou seest thy brother's ox, or his sheep go astray: but thou shalt bring them back to thy brother.


Thou shalt do in like manner with his ass, and with his raiment, and with every thing that is thy brother's, which is lost: if thou find it, neglect it not as pertaining to another.


2 Then Achimaas the son of Sadoc said to Joab again: Why might not I also run after Chusai? And Joab said to him: Why wilt thou run, my son? thou wilt not be the bearer of good tidings.
