3 After these things are declared they shall add the rest, and shall speak to the people: What man is there that is fearful, and faint hearted? let him go, and return to his house, lest he make the hearts of his brethren to fear, as he himself is possessed with fear.

5 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise always to God, that is to say, the fruit of lips confessing to his name.


Offer up the sacrifice of justice, and trust in the Lord: many say, Who sheweth us good things?


9 I know thy works, and thy faith, and thy charity, and thy ministry, and thy patience, and thy last works which are more than the former.


5 Therefore as he hath fulfilled in deed, what he promised, and all things prosperous have come: so Will he bring upon you all the evils he hath threatened, till he take you away and destroy you from off this excellent land, which he hath given you,


1 Which some promising, have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.


6 And as a man's enemies shall be they of his own household.


9 He that findeth his life, shall lose it: and he that shall lose his life for me, shall find it.


4 He is faithful who hath called you, who also will do it.


2 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.


And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and justifications of the Lord without blame.


4 At length he appeared to the eleven as they were at table: and he upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe them who had seen him after he was risen again.

4 And behold the whole city went out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart from their coasts.


4 Shall the ploughman plough all the day to sow, shall he open and harrow his ground?


What man is there, that hath planted a vineyard, and hath not as yet made it to be common, whereof all men may eat? let him go, and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man execute his office.


What man is there, that hath espoused a wife, and not taken her? let him go, and return to his house, lest he die in the war, and another man take her.


They have overturned the way of the poor, and have oppressed together the meek of the earth.


2 And Achaz said: I will not ask, and I will not tempt the Lord.


6 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch forth thy hand over the sea, and divide it: that the children of Israel may go through the midst of the sea on dry ground.


4 And the inhabitants of this land, (who have heard that thou, O Lord, art among this people, and art seen face to face, and thy cloud protecteth them, and thou goest before them in a pillar of a cloud by day, and in a pillar of fire by night,)


6 And you would not go up, but being incredulous to the word of the Lord our God,


7 And David said: The Lord who delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David: Go, and the Lord be with thee.


3 Know you not what I and my fathers have done to all the people of the lands? have the gods of any nations and lands been able to deliver their country out of my hand?
