0 You shall pass over the Jordan, and shall dwell in the land which the Lord your God will give you, that you may have rest from all enemies round about: and may dwell without any fear,


1 To him be glory and empire for ever and ever. Amen.


0 And let these also first be proved: and so let them minister, having no crime.


Wilt thou be angry with us for ever: or wilt thou extend thy wrath from generation to generation?


2 He will not deprive of good things them that walk in innocence : O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.


1 Set me, O Lord, a law in thy way, and guide me in the right path, because of my enemies.


If armies in camp should stand together against me, my heart shall not fear. If a battle should rise up against me, in this will I be confident.


And thou shalt dress, and eat it in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, and in the morning rising up thou shalt go into thy dwellings.


6 Only the blood thou shalt not eat, but thou shalt pour it out upon the earth as water.


2 For the Lord abhorreth all these things, and for these abominations he will destroy them at thy coming.


0 Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: When you shall have passed over the Jordan into the land of Chanaan,


9 Take heed thou forsake not the Levite all the time that thou livest in the land.
