4 And from that time Hebron belonged to Caleb the son of Jephone the Cenezite, until this present day: because he followed the Lord the God of Israel.


And he said to Moses: Come up to the Lord, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abiu, and seventy of the ancients of Israel, and you shall adore afar off.


6 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of chariot horses, and twelve thou- sand for the saddle.


1 And he slept d with his fathers: and they buried him in the city of David: and Roboam his son reigned in his stead


9 And God gave to Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart as the sand that is on the sea shore.


2 I alone am not able to bear your business, and the charge of you and your differences.


3 Let me have from among you wise and understanding men, and such whose conversation is approved among your tribes, that I may appoint them your rulers.


5 That it may be well with thee and thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is pleasing in the sight of the Lord.


Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, neither were his teeth moved.


8 And it shall come to pass after this, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy: your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
