5 There is a way that seemeth to a man right: and the ends thereof lead to death.


9 And they cast dust upon their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying: Alas! alas! that great city, wherein all were made rich, that had ships at sea, by reason of her prices: for in one hour she is made desolate.


4 These shall fight with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, because he is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and they that are with him are called, and elect, and faithful.


9 And another said: I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to try them: I pray thee, hold me excused.


1 The foot of man shall not pass through it, neither shall the foot of beasts go through it: nor shall it be inhabited during forty years.


And the angel said to me: Why dost thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast which carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.


4 Salute one another with a holy kiss. Grace be to all you, who are in Christ Jesus. Amen.


5 If I said: I will speak thus; behold I should condemn the generation of thy children.


Hear, O my people, and I will speak: O Israel, and I will testify to thee: I am God, thy God.


And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of great thunders, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord our God the Almighty hath reigned.


The man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.


The mountains ascend, and the plains descend into the place which thou hast founded for them.


Also Vasthi the queen made a feast for the women in the palace, where king Assuerus was used to dwell.


0 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, and Arach, and Achad, and Chalanne in the land of Sennaar.


7 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.


I have not learned wisdom, and have not known the science of saints.


The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, the rod of the rulers,


And being now drunk he commanded that they should bring the vessels of gold and silver which Nabuchodonosor his father had brought away out of the temple, that was in Jerusalem, that the king and his nobles, and his wives and his concubines, might drink in them.


And the Lord answered me, and said: Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables: that he that readeth it may run over it.


The dissembler with his mouth deceiveth his friend: but the just shall be delivered by knowledge.


7 And he sent his servant at the hour of supper to say to them that were invited, that they should come, for now all things are ready.
