7 And the nobles, and the magistrates, and the judges, and the great men of the king being gathered together, considered these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies, and that not a hair of their head had been singed, nor their garments altered, nor the smell of the fire had passed on them.


0 And speaking he said: Blessed be the name of the Lord from eternity and for evermore: for wisdom and fortitude are his.


Let them, therefore, saith he, among you that are able, go down with me, and accuse him, if there be any crime in the man.


0 And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed about with an army; then know that the desolation thereof is at hand.


9 And all the multitude sought to touch him, for virtue went out from him, and healed all.


7 And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days.


6 Therefore fear them not. For nothing is covered that shall not be revealed: nor hid, that shall not be known.


I am the most foolish of men, and the wisdom of men is not with me.


0 Thy own friend, and thy father's friend forsake not: and go not into thy brother's house in the day of thy affliction. Better is a neighbour that is near, than a brother afar off.


9 He that studieth discords, loveth quarrels: and he that exalteth his door, seeketh ruin.


But to Cain and his offerings he had no respect: and Cain was exceedingly angry, and his countenance fell.


5 And after ten days their faces appeared fairer and fatter than all the children that ate of the king's meat.
