The man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.


All the things that concern me, Tychicus, our dearest brother, and faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord, will make known to you,


3 Blessed is the man that findeth wisdom and is rich in prudence:


9 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also Christ doth the church:


The ancients therefore that are among you, I beseech, who am myself also an ancient, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ: as also a partaker of that glory which is to be revealed in time to come:


7 I charge you by the Lord, that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren.


4 Or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of the good:


4 Salute all your prelates, and all the saints. The brethren from Italy salute you.


And every spirit that dissolveth Jesus, is not of God: and this is Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he cometh, and he is now already in the world.


8 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.


3 Arise, and tread, O daughter of Sion: for I will make thy horn iron, and thy hoofs I will make brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many peoples, and shalt immolate the spoils of them to the Lord, and their strength to the Lord of the whole earth.


0 For I have no man so of the same mind, who with sincere affection is solicitous for you.


BUT a certain man named Ananias, with Saphira his wife, sold a piece of land,


Not as if we had not power: but that we might give ourselves a pattern unto you, to imitate us.


0 According to my expectation and hope; that in nothing I shall be confounded, but with all confidence, as always, so now also shall Christ be magnified in my body, wither it be by life, or by death.


5 Whom he calling together, with the workmen of like occupation, said: Sirs, you know that our gain is by this trade;


1 And you, whereas you were some time alienated and enemies in mind in evil works:


In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:


6 Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink, or in respect of a festival day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbaths,


And he preached, saying: There cometh after me one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.


And every one that hath this hope in him, sanctifieth himself, as he also is holy.


6 For I am not ashamed of the gospel. For it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and to the Greek.


4 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent to minister for them, who shall receive the inheritance of salvation?


0 And to wait for his Son from heaven (whom he raised up from the dead,) Jesus, who hath delivered us from the wrath to come.


7 Hear me, O Lord, hear me: that this people may learn, that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart again.


4 Knowing that you shall receive of the Lord the reward of inheritance. Serve ye the Lord Christ.
