1 But as for them whose heart walketh after their scandals and abominations, I will lay their way upon their head, saith the Lord God.


2 Have the gods of the nations delivered them whom my fathers have destroyed, Gozam, and Haram, and Reseph, and the children of Eden, that were in Thalassar?


And the sound of the wings of the cherubims was heard even to the out- ward court as the voice of God Almighty speaking.


0 If you will be quiet and remain in this land, I will build you up, and not pull you down: I will plane you, and not pluck you up: for now I am appeased for the evil that I have done to you.


5 Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that prophecy in my name, whom I did not send, that say: Sword and famine shall not be in this land: By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.


8 And Moses going forth from the presence of Pharao, prayed to the Lord.


3 And the sixth angel sounded the trumpet: and I heard a voice from the four horns of the great altar, which is before the eyes of God,


I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts: and it shall come to the house of the thief, and to the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and the stones thereof.


3 But prophesy not again any more in Bethel: because it is the king's sanctuary, and it is the house of the kingdom.


7 And he shall confirm the covenant with many, in one week: and in the half of the week the victim and the sacrifice shall fall: and there shall be in the temple the abomination of desolation: and ihe desolation shall continue even to the consummation, and to the end.


For thus saith the Lord God: My people went down into Egypt at the beginning to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without any cause at all.


The wicked walk round about: according to thy highness, thou best multiplied the children of men.


2 Beware thou never join in friendship with the inhabitants of that land, which may be thy ruin:


5 And I will restore to you the ears which the locust, and the bruchus, and the mildew, and the palmerworm have eaten; my great host which I sent upon you.


For thus saith the Lord to the house of Israel: Seek ye me, and you shall live.
