Be you therefore also patient, and strengthen your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.


In the seven and twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Azarias son of Amasias, king of Juda.


9 And the temple of God was opened in heaven: and the ark of his testament was seen in his temple, and there were lightnings, and voices, and an earthquake, and great hail.


8 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and I go to the Father.


9 Behold I will cut off all that have afflicted thee at that time: and I will save her that halteth, and will gather her that was cast out: and I will get them praise, and a name, in all the land where they had been put to confusion.


For behold the Lord will come forth out of his place: and he will come down, and will tread upon the high places of the earth.


Baltasar the king made a great feast for a thousand of his nobles: and every one drank according to his age.


9 And I will bring Israel again to his habitation: and he shall feed on Carmel, and Bason, and his soul shall be satisfied in mount Ephraim, and Galaad.


They are framed after the likeness of a palm tree, and shall not speak: they must be carried to be removed, because they cannot go. Therefore, fear them not, for they can neither do evil nor good.


4 And he shall be a sanctification to you. But for a stone or stumbling, and for a rock of offence to the two houses of Israel, for a snare and a ruin to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.


2 And Achaz said: I will not ask, and I will not tempt the Lord.


And the head of Ephraim is Samaria and the head of Samaria the son of Romelia. If you will not believe, you shall not continue.

4 If I have been afraid at a very great multitude, and the contempt of kinsmen hath terrified me: and I have not rather held my peace, and not gone out of the door.


0 For I have not given my mouth to sin, by wishing a curse to his soul.


0 God will not cast away the simple, nor reach out his hand to the evildoer:


And when he had possession of the kingdom, he put his servants to death that had slain the king his father:


0 So the Philistines fought, and Israel was overthrown, and every man fled to his own dwelling: and there was an exceeding great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.


2 Arise therefore in the night with the people that is with thee and he hid in the field:


9 For this is the joy of his way, that others may spring again out of the earth.


Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron, and shalt break them in pieces like a potter's vessel.


Unto the end, in praises, a psalm for Asaph: a canticle to the Assyrians. In Judea God is known: his name is great in Israel.


And his place is in peace: and his abode in Sion:


O, O flee ye out of the land of the north, saith the Lord, for I have scattered you into the four winds of heaven, saith the Lord.


1 The foot of man shall not pass through it, neither shall the foot of beasts go through it: nor shall it be inhabited during forty years.


7 And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first of the month: that the word of the Lord came to me, saying:


5 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing before him: for he doth according to his will, I as well with the powers of heaven, as among the inhabitants of the earth: and there is none that can resist his hand, and say to him: Why hast thou done it?
