And Jesus was clothed with filthy garments: and he stood before the face of the angel.

0 For as you also in times past did not believe God, but now have obtained mercy, through their unbelief;


7 Why hast thou made us to err, O Lord, from thy ways: why hast thou hardened our heart, that we should not fear thee? return for the sake of thy servants, the tribes of thy inheritance.


1 And behold an angel of the Lord from heaven called to him, saying: Abraham, Abraham. And he answered: Here I am.


He said to her: Agar, handmaid of Sarai, whence comest thou? and whither goest thou? And she answered: I flee from the face of Sarai, my mistress.


Not serving to the eye, as it were pleasing men, but, as the servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart,


6 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ.


3 This saying therefore went abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die. And Jesus did not say to him: He should not die; but, So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee?


You know that after two days shall be the pasch, and the son of man shall be delivered up to be crucified:


And the Lord God called Adam, and said to him: Where art thou?


4 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.


4 Now Caiphas was he who had given the counsel to the Jews: That it was expedient that one man should die for the people.


And he from within should answer, and say: Trouble me not, the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.


0 And Aaron returned to Moses to the door of the tabernacle of the covenant after the destruction was over.


And he said: I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Moses hid his face: for he durst not look at God.


8 And they laid hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.


And the Lord said to Isaias: Go forth to meet Achaz, thou and Jasub thy son that is left, to the conduit of the upper pool, a in the way of the fuller's held.


3 But Ananias answered: Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints in Jerusalem.
