But having suffered many things before, and been shamefully treated (as you know) at Philippi, we had confidence in our God, to speak unto you the gospel of God in much carefulness.


For know you this and understand, that no fornicator, or unclean, or covetous person (which is a serving of idols), hath inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.


4 Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the fool is next to confusion.


And every spirit that dissolveth Jesus, is not of God: and this is Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he cometh, and he is now already in the world.


But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.


1 For we forecast what may be good not only before God, but also before men.


And the days being expired, departing we went forward, they all bringing us on our way, with their wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and we prayed.


He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side. He will tell thee what thou must do.

1 Wherefore of these men who have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus came in and went out among us,


2 Having damnation, because they have made void their first faith.


4 I will therefore that the younger should marry, bear children, be mistresses of families, give no occasion to the adversary to speak evil.
