And to Appia, our dearest sister, and to Archippus, our fellow soldier, and to the church which is in thy house:


Admonish them to be subject to princes and powers, to obey at a word, to be ready to every good work.


Now these are the foundations, which Solomon laid, to build the house of God, the length by the first measure sixty cubits, the breadth twenty cubits.


But if any of you want wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men abundantly, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.


But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin, being reproved by the law as transgressors.


It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.


9 Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners; but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and the domestics of God,


9 And we are witnesses of all things that he did in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed, hanging him upon a tree.


2 But many of the priests and the Levites, and the chief of the fathers and the ancients that had seen the former temple; when they had the foundation of this temple before their eyes, wept with a loud voice: and many shouting for joy, lifted up their voice.


9 Against a priest receive not an accusation, but under two or three witnesses.


But of the times and moments, brethren, you need not, that we should write to you;


0 According to my expectation and hope; that in nothing I shall be confounded, but with all confidence, as always, so now also shall Christ be magnified in my body, wither it be by life, or by death.


6 You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go, and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.


3 Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends.


1 And they said to him: What shall we do to thee, that the sea may be calm to us? for the sea flowed and swelled.


Do therefore, my son, what I say, and deliver thyself: because thou art fallen into the hand of thy neighbour. Run about, make haste, stir up thy friend:

Thy teeth as flocks of sheep, that are shorn which come up from the washing, all with twins, and there is none barren among them.


7 Till the day break, and the shadows retire. Return: be like, my beloved, to a roe, or to a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.


This man saw in a vision manifestly, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming in unto him, and saying to him: Cornelius.


And when the angel who spoke to him was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a soldier who feared the Lord, of them that were under him.


6 And this was done thrice; and presently the vessel was taken up into heaven.


1 Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thy alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.


3 And he told us how he had seen an angel in his house, standing, and saying to him: Send to Joppe, and call hither Simon, who is surnamed Peter,


1 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believing, were converted to the Lord.


5 And being afraid I went and hid thy talent in the earth: behold here thou hast that which is thine.
