For which thing thrice I besought the Lord, that it might depart from me.


1 For if I have injured them, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die. But if there be none of these things whereof they accuse me, no man may deliver me to them: I appeal to Caesar.

1 Then going up, and breaking bread and tasting, and having talked a long time to them, until daylight, so he departed.


9 But had certain questions of their own superstition against him, and of one Jesus deceased, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.


We accept it always and in all places, most excellent Felix, with all thanksgiving.


They cried to thee, and they were saved: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.


3 And he found there a certain man named Eneas, who had kept his bed for eight years, who was ill of the palsy.


2 For their destruction shall rise suddenly: and who knoweth the ruin of both?
