1 For if God hath not spared the natural branches, fear lest perhaps he also spare not thee.


3 And I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that I have often purposed to come unto you, (and have been hindered hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.


A faithful saying: if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.


3 And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying: What seest thou? I see a boiling caldron, and the face thereof from the face of the north.


3 If we believe not, he continueth faithful, he can not deny himself.


9 Immediately therefore they departed from him that were about to torture him. The tribune also was afraid after he understood that he was a Roman citizen, and because he had bound him.


4 If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.


And the things which thou hast heard of me by many witnesses, the same commend to faithful men, who shall be fit to teach others also.


0 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.


9 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.


0 Said: O full of all guile, and of all deceit, child of the devil, enemy of all justice, thou ceasest not to pervert the right ways of the Lord.


6 Therefore fear them not. For nothing is covered that shall not be revealed: nor hid, that shall not be known.


For her sins have reached unto heaven, and the Lord hath remembered her iniquities.


2 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.


And with much ado sailing by it, we came into a certain place, which is called Good-havens, nigh to which was the city of Thalassa.


Especially as thou knowest all, both customs and questions that are among the Jews: Wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.


7 But when the seven days were drawing to an end, those Jews that were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands upon him, crying out:


5 For behold I will call together all the families of the kingdoms of the north: saith the Lord: and they shall come, and shall set every one his throne in the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and upon all the walls thereof round about, and upon all the cities of Juda,


5 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, Paul speaking this one word: Well did the Holy Ghost speak to our fathers by Isaias the prophet,


2 And they heard him until this word, and then lifted up their voice, saying: Away with such an one from the earth; for it is not fit that he should live.


And I indeed did formerly think, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.


By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, in all nations, for his name;


For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make a commemoration of you;


5 And every one that striveth for the mastery, refraineth himself from all things: and they indeed that they may receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible one.


0 That the manifold wisdom of God may be made known to the principalities and powers in heavenly places through the church,
