8 And the tribune answered: I obtained the being free of this city with a great sum. And Paul said: But I was born so.


There was therefore great joy in that city. Now there was a certain man named Simon, who before had been a magician in that city, seducing the people of Samaria, giving out that he was some great one:


And God said to him: That his seed should sojourn in a strange country, and that they should bring them under bondage, and treat them evil four hundred years.


2 And one Ananias, a man according to the law, having testimony of all the Jews who dwelt there,


7 And the fame of him was published into every place of the country.


8 Arise, and go down to meet Achab king of Israel, who is in Samaria: behold he is going down to the vineyard of Naboth, to take possession of it:


2 But he that will be proud, and refuse to obey the commandment of the priest, who ministereth at that time to the Lord thy God, and the decree of the judge, that man shall die, and thou shalt take away the evil from Israel:


0 But rather being mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and be holy to their Cod.


Then he went out of the land of the Chaldeans, and dwelt in Charan. And from thence, after his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein you now dwell.


And Philip going down to the city of Samaria, preached Christ unto them.


AND Paul looking upon the council, said: Men, brethren, I have conversed with all good conscience before God until this present day.


8 To open their eyes, that they may be converted from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and a lot among the saints, by the faith that is in me.
