The same was in the beginning with God.


1 They therefore that received his word, were baptized; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.


6 And they conversed there in the church a whole year; and they taught a great multitude, so that at Antioch the disciples were first named Christians.


9 But Mary kept all these words, pondering them in her heart.


4 And his head and his hairs were white, as white wool, and as snow, and his eyes were as a flame of fire,


In this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God, and keep his commandments.


Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly vocation, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Jesus:


1 Now all chastisement for the present indeed seemeth not to bring with it joy, but sorrow: but afterwards it will yield, to them that are exercised by it, the most peaceable fruit of justice.


4 And the Lord shall destroy out of Israel the head and the tail, him that bendeth down, and him that holdeth back, in one day.


3 And it shall be, that every soul which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.


And John was clothed with camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and he ate locusts and wild honey.


I John, your brother and your partner in tribulation, and in the kingdom, and patience in Christ Jesus, was in the island, which is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus.


0 Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation.


6 And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart;


And assembling together all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where Christ should be born.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be confounded, every one by his own vision, when he shall prophesy, neither shall they be clad with a garment of sackcloth, to deceive :


0 Wherefore, brethren, labour the more, that by good works you may make sure your calling and election. For doing these things, you shall not sin at any time.


Using hospitality one towards another, without murmuring,


3 If so ye continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and immoveable from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, which is preached in all the creation that is under heaven, whereof I Paul am made a minister.


For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever modest, whatsoever just, whatsoever holy, whatsoever lovely, whatsoever of good fame, if there be any virtue, if any praise of discipline, think on these things.


6 Cease not to give thanks for you, making commemoration of you in my prayers,


You are our epistle, written in our hearts, which is known and read by all men:


1 Who was seen for many days, by them who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who to this present are his witnesses to the people.


9 But Peter and John answering, said to them: If it be just in the sight of God, to hear you rather than God, judge ye.


Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said to them: Ye princes of the people, and ancients, hear:


AND as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the officer of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,


4 And all they that believed, were together, and had all things common.


0 And these are they who are sown upon the good ground, who hear the word, and receive it, and yield fruit, the one thirty, another sixty, and another a hundred.


8 And the disiples of John and the Pharisees used to fast; and they come and say to him: Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast; but thy disciples do not fast?


And he shall also carry away captive into Egypt their gods, and their graven things, and their precious vessels of gold and silver: he shall prevail against the king of the north.


And his body was like the chrysolite, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as a burning lamp: and his arms, and all downward even to the feet, like in appearance to glittering brass: and the voice of his word like the voice of a multitude.


The Persians, Ethiopians, and Libyans with them, all with shields and helmets.


And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:


Hath not lent upon usury, nor taken any increase: hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, and hath executed true judgment between man and man:


He is near that justifieth me, who will contend with me? let us stand together, who is my adversary? let him come near to me.


Even to your old age I am the same, and to your grey hairs I will carry you: I have made you, and I will bear: I will carry and will save.


9 Behold I do new things, and now they shall spring forth, verily you shall know them: I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.


1 I am, I am the Lord: and there is no saviour besides me.


1 If they profane my justices: and keep not my commandments:


6 He shall cry out to me: Thou art my father: my God, and the support of my salvation.


If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity.


But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of the ungodly men.


That, being justified by his grace, we may be heirs, according to hope of life everlasting.


But when the goodness and kindness of God our Savior appeared:


3 This testimony is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;


0 Jesus saith to him: Go thy way; thy son liveth. The man believed the word which Jesus said to him, and went his way.
