1 Who having heard this, early in the morning, entered into the temple, and taught. And the high priest coming, and they that were with him, called together the council, and all the ancients of the children of Israel; and they sent to the prison to have them brought.


9 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings, and grant unto thy servants, that with all confidence they may speak thy word,


2 And we are witnesses of these things and the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to all that obey him.


0 And he said to them: Behold, as you go into the city, there shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water: follow him into the house where he entereth in.


7 And there came to him some of the Sadducees, who deny that there is any resurrection, and they asked him,


4 Whom when the husbandmen saw, they thought within themselves, saying: This is the heir, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.


3 Amen I say to you, wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, that also which she hath done, shall be told for a memory of her.


4 And when the time of the fruits drew nigh, he sent his servants to the husbandmen that they might receive the fruits thereof.


3 Which when Jesus had heard, he retired from thence by boat, into a desert place apart, and the multitudes having heard of it, followed him on foot out of the cities.


6 What think you? But they answering, said: He is guilty of death.


2 And he will shew you a large dining room, furnished; and there prepare.


0 The God of our fathers hath raised up Jesus, whom you put to death, hanging him upon a tree.


3 When they had heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they thought to put them to death.
