6 Saying: What shall we do to these men? for indeed a known miracle hath been done by them, to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem: it is manifest, and we cannot deny it.


And he gave him no inheritance in it; no, not the pace of a foot: but he promised to give it him in possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.


2 And every day they ceased not in the temple, and from house to house, to teach and preach Christ Jesus.


8 And they drew night to the town, whither they were going: and he made as though he would go farther.


1 But they cried again, saying: Crucify him, crucify him.


And Pilate asked him, saying: Art thou the king of the Jews? But he answering, said: Thou sayest it.


And he began to speak to the people this parable: A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it out to husbandmen: and he was abroad for a long time.


And Pilate answered them, and said: Will you that I release to you the king of the Jews?


You have cast out the women of my people from their houses, in which they took delight: you have taken my praise for ever from their children.


8 And then come, and accuse me, saith the Lord: if your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow: and if they be red as crimson, they shall be white as wool.
