Be you humbled therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in the time of visitation:


5 For if, because of thy meat, thy brother be grieved, thou walkest not now according to charity. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.


4 Wherefore God gave them up to the desires of their heart, unto uncleanness, to dishonour their own bodies among themselves.

9 When they had rowed therefore about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking upon the sea, and drawing nigh to the ship, and they were afraid.


8 And he said to them: Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?


4 And they forgot to take bread; and they had but one loaf with them in the ship.


7 And immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying: Be of good heart: it is I, fear ye not.


3 A fainting hath taken hold of me, because of the wicked that forsake thy law.


8 And Saul came to Samuel in the midst of the gate and said: Tell me, I pray thee, where is the house of the seer?
