And I indeed did formerly think, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.


And Saul arose from the ground; and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. But they leading him by the hands, brought him to Damascus.

5 And Samuel arose and went up from Galgal to Gabaa of Benjamin. And the rest of the people went up after Saul, to meet the people who fought against them, going from Galgal to Gabaa in the hill of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people, that were found with him, about six hundred men.


6 And the inscription of his cause was written over: THE KING OF THE JEWS.


8 And Jehu gathered together all the people, and said to them: Achab worshipped Baal a little, but I will worship him more.


But Festus, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, answering Paul, said: Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?


2 Then Festus having conferred with the council, answered: Hast thou appealed to Caesar? To Caesar shalt thou go.


0 I therefore being in a doubt of this manner of question, asked him whether he would go to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things.
