1 And oftentimes punishing them, in every synagogue, I compelled them to blaspheme: and being yet more mad against them, I persecuted them even unto foreign cities.


Unto which, our twelve tribes, serving night and day, hope to come. For which hope, O king, I am accused by the Jews.


Let them, therefore, saith he, among you that are able, go down with me, and accuse him, if there be any crime in the man.


2 And Felix put them off, having most certain knowledge of this way, saying: When Lysias the tribune shall come down, I will hear you.


8 In which I was found purified in the temple: neither with multitude, nor with tumult.


4 But this I confess to thee, that according to the way, which they call a heresy, so do I serve the Father and my God, believing all things which are written in the law and the prophets:


8 For with much vigour he convinced the Jews openly, shewing by the scriptures, that Jesus is the Christ.


And when the battle is now at hand, the priest shall stand before the army, and shall speak to the people in this manner:


5 That it might be fulfilled which the Lord spoke by the prophet, saying: Out of Egypt have I called my son.


0 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias. And the Lord said to him in a vision: Ananias. And he said: Behold I am here, Lord.


And on the first day of the week, when we were assembled to break bread, Paul discoursed with them, being to depart on the morrow: and he continued his speech until midnight.
