A double minded man is inconstant in all his ways.


0 For this cause therefore I desired to see you, and to speak to you. Because that for the hope of Israel, I am bound with this chain.


1 But Paul appealing to be reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept, till I might send him to Caesar.


7 But when the seven days were drawing to an end, those Jews that were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands upon him, crying out:


8 And the day following, Paul went in with us unto James; and all the ancients were assembled.


And he said to them: Have you received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? But they said to him: We have not so much as heard whether there be a Holy Ghost.


Then they, fasting and praying, and imposing their hands upon them, sent them away.


And when you are praying, speak not much, as the heathens. For they think that in their much speaking they may be heard.


5 And Samuel arose and went up from Galgal to Gabaa of Benjamin. And the rest of the people went up after Saul, to meet the people who fought against them, going from Galgal to Gabaa in the hill of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people, that were found with him, about six hundred men.


So when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave unto him another heart, and all these things came to pass that day.


3 And they appointed two, Joseph, called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.


1 Who, when he was come to us, took Paul's girdle: and binding his own feet and hands, he said: Thus saith the Holy Ghost: The man whose girdle this is, the Jews shall bind in this manner in Jerusalem, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.


5 But as touching the Gentiles that believe, we have written, decreeing that they should only refrain themselves from that which has been offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangles, and from fornication.
