4 And when Paul was beginning to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews: If it were some matter of injustice, or an heinous deed, O Jews, I should with reason bear with you.


5 Itself remaineth alone. But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, keepeth it unto life eternal.


2 For if the will be forward, it is accepted according to that which a man hath, not according to that which he hath not.


1 For behold this selfsame thing, that you were made sorrowful according to God, how great carefulness it worketh in you; yea defence, yea indignation, yea fear, yea desire, yea zeal, yea revenge: in all things you have shewed yourselves to be undefiled in the matter.


Wherefore, I beseech you, that you would confirm your charity towards him.


0 For, with the heart, we believe unto justice; but, with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.


AND on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalen cometh early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre; and she saw the stone taken away from the sepulchre.


I have not sinned, and my eye abideth in bitterness.


3 And the king mourning and lamenting over Abner, said: Not as cowards are wont to die, hath Abner died.


But godliness with contentment is great gain.
