41 And a certain man who was lame from his mother's womb, was carried: whom they laid every day at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, that he might ask alms of them that went into the temple.

2 Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved.


And he leaping up, stood, and walked, and went in with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

And the multitude of the city was divided; and some of them indeed held with the Jews, but some with the apostles.


His work is praise and magnificence: and his justice continueth for ever and ever.

For neither have we used, at any time, the speech of flattery, as you know; nor taken an occasion of covetousness, God is witness:


And it came to pass on the morrow, that their princes, and ancients, and scribes, were gathered together in Jerusalem;


2 And Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians; and he was mighty in his words and in his deeds.


AND when we had escaped, then we knew that the island was called Melita. But the barbarians shewed us no small courtesy.


0 The love of our neighbour worketh no evil. Love therefore is the fulfilling of the law.


But the end of all is at hand. Be prudent therefore, and watch in prayers.


2 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon that great river Euphrates; and dried up the water thereof, that a way might be prepared for the kings from the rising of the sun.


9 And this he said, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had said this, he saith to him: Follow me.
