That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life:


And though they be hid in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them away from thence : and though they hide themselves from my eyes in the depth of the sea, there will I command the serpent and he shall bite them.


7 And as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.


1 For which cause comfort one another; and edify one another, as you also do.


And Solomon begot Roboam. And Roboam begot Abia. And Abia begot Asa.


They shall enter into the city: they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up the houses, they shall come in at the windows as a thief.


6 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.


3 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.


2 But of that day or hour no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.


The words of Amos, who was among herdsmen of Thecua: which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Ozias king of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joas king of Israel two years before the earthquake.


7 And the seventh angel poured out his vial upon the air, and there came a great voice out of the temple from the throne, saying: It is done.


And I heard the number of them that were signed, an hundred forty-four thousand were signed, of every tribe of the children of Israel.


DARE any of you, having a matter against another, go to be judged before the unjust, and not before the saints ?


3 And coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, came into the holy city, and appeared to many.


1 For I have heard the voice as of a woman in travail, anguishes as of a woman in labor of a child. The voice of the daughter of Sion, dying away, spreading her hands: Woe is me, for my soul hath fainted because of them that are slain.


6 Search ye diligently in the book of the Lord, and read: not one of them was wanting, one hath not sought for the other: for that which proceedeth out of my mouth, he hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.


He shall cast death down headlong forever: and the Lord God shall wipe away tears from every face, and the reproach of his people he shall take away from off the whole earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.


HER time is near at hand, and her days shall not be prolonged. For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose out of Israel, and will make them rest upon their own ground: and the stranger shall be joined with them, and shall adhere to the house of Jacob.


7 Behold I will stir up the Medes against them, who shall not seek silver, nor desire gold:


8 But with their arrows they shall kill the children, and shall have no pity upon the sucklings of the womb, and their eye shall not spare their sons.


Behold, I will raise them up out of the place wherein you have sold them: and I will return your recompense upon your own heads.


7 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, nor suffer thy Holy One to see corruption.


9 Ye men, brethren, let me freely speak to you of the patriarch David; that he died, and was buried; and his sepulchre is with us to this present day.
