4 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one that worshipped God, did hear: whose heart the Lord opened to attend to those things which were said by Paul.


And I will encompass my house with them that serve me in war, going and returning, and the oppressor shall no more pass through them: for now I have seen with my eyes.


And he said: In what then were you baptized? Who said: In John's baptism.


And the churches were confirmed in faith, and increased in number daily.


1 But they, shaking off the dust of their feet against them, came to Iconium.


1 And after that they desired a king: and God gave them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, forty years.


Ascalon shall see, and shall fear, and Gaza, and shall be very sorrowful: and Accaron, because her hope is confounded : and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ascalon shall not be inhabited.


Be mindful that the Lord Jesus Christ is risen again from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel.


3 And they changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of the image of a corruptible man, and of birds, and of fourfooted beasts, and of creeping things.


3 And the south wind gently blowing, thinking that they had obtained their purpose, when they had loosed from Asson, they sailed close by Crete.


And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church, and by the apostles and ancients, declaring how great things God had done with them.


8 And one of them named Agabus, rising up, signified by the Spirit, that there should be a great famine over the whole world, which came to pass under Claudius.


9 And they that passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying: Vah, thou that destroyest the temple of God, and in three days buildest it up again;


0 And saying: Vah, thou that destroyest the temple of God, and in three days dost rebuild it: save thy own self: if thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.


I will not execute the fierceness of my wrath: I will not return to destroy Ephraim: because I am God, and not man: the holy one in the midst of thee, and I will not enter into the city.


And I said to the man that was clothed In linen, that stood upon the waters of the river: How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?


3 Thus saith the Lord God: I will also destroy the idols, and I will make an end of the idols of Memphis: and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will cause a terror in the land of Egypt.


7 Call ye the name of Pharao king Egypt, a tumult time hath brought.


0 And there came a famine in the country; and Abram went down into Egypt, to sojourn there: for the famine was very grievous in the land.


7 We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art, and who wast, and who art to come: because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and thou hast reigned.


5 So (as much as is in me) I am ready to preach the gospel to you also that are at Rome.


3 And when they had appointed him a day, there came very many to him unto his lodgings; to whom he expounded, testifying the kingdom of God, and persuading them concerning Jesus, out of the law of Moses and the prophets, from morning until evening.


0 Because I am with thee: and no man shall set upon thee, to hurt thee; for I have much people in this city.


Then Saul, otherwise Paul, filled with the Holy Ghost, looking upon him,


Who said: Ye men, brethren, and fathers, hear. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charan.


3 And they set up false witnesses, who said: This man ceaseth not to speak words against the holy place and the law.


3 And coming he dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was said by prophets: That he shall be called a Nazarene.


They shall all proved together to be senseless and foolish: the doctrine of their vanity is wood.


So the Jews made a great slaughter of their enemies, and killed them, repaying according to what they had prepared to do to them:


9 And the tribune taking him by the hand, went aside with him privately, and asked him: What is it that thou hast to tell me?


3 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you tithe mint, and anise, and cummin, and have left the weightier things of the law; judgment, and mercy, and faith. These things you ought to have done, and not to leave those undone.


9 And I will shew wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood and fire, and vapour of smoke.


9 Being therefore the offspring of God, we must not suppose the divinity to be like unto gold, or silver, or stone, the graving of art, and device of man.
