0 Saying to them: Ye men, I see that the voyage beginneth to be with injury and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.


8 As if I would not come to you, so some are puffed up.


3 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews indeed a stumblingblock, and unto the Gentiles foolishness:


That in all things you are made rich in him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;


8 Art not thou that Egyptian who before these days didst raise a tumult, and didst lead forth into the desert four thousand men that were murderers?


0 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.


Lest, when the Macedonians shall come with me, and find you unprepared, we (not to say ye) should be ashamed in this matter.


And it came to pass, as I was going, and drawing nigh to Damascus at midday, that suddenly from heaven there shone round about me a great light:


And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.


0 For we are even in danger to be called in question for this day's uproar, there being no man guilty (of whom we may give account) of this concourse.


6 Now whilst Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred within him, seeing the city wholly given to idolatry.


7 This same following Paul and us, cried out, saying: These men are the servants of the most high God, who preach unto you the way of salvation.


3 Now when Paul and they that were with him had sailed from Paphos, they came to Perge in Pamphylia. And John departing from them, returned to Jerusalem.


0 And presenting them to the magistrates, they said: These men disturb our city, being Jews;


9 And the whole city was filled with confusion; and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.


0 For this cause, if I come, I will advertise his works which he doth, with malicious words prating against us. And as if these things were not enough for him, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and them that do receive them he forbiddeth, and casteth out of the church.
