2 Thou therefore, O son of man, say to the children of thy people: The justice of the just shall not deliver him, in what day soever he shall sin: and the wickedness of the wicked shall not hurt him, in what day soever he shall turn from his wickedness: and the just shall not be able to live in his justice, in what day soever he shall sin.


1 Ye mountains of Gelboe, let neither dew, nor rain come upon you, neither be they fields of firstfruits: for there was cast away the shield of the valiant, the shield of Saul as though he had not been anointed with oil.


1 But if the wicked do penance for all his sins which he hath committed, and keep all my commandments, and do judgment, and justice, living he shall live, and shall not die.


8 And there was prepared for me day by day one ox, and six choice rams, be- sides fowls, and once in ten days I gave store of divers wines, and many other things: yet I did not require my yearly allowance as governor: for the people were very much impoverished.


And were there preaching the gospel.


3 But if you partake of the sufferings of Christ, rejoice that when his glory shall be revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.


3 But he said to them: Give you them to eat. And they said: We have no more than five loaves and two fishes; unless perhaps we should go and buy food for all this multitude.


3 And they came to the place that is called Golgotha, which is the place of Calvary.


And when the prince of pastors shall appear, you shall receive a never fading crown of glory.


Now as Jannes and Mambres resisted Moses, so these also resist the truth, men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith.


As David also termeth the blessedness of a man, to whom God reputeth justice without works:


By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, in all nations, for his name;


8 And Agrippa said to Paul: In a little thou persuadest me to become a Christian.


9 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not incredulous to the heavenly vision:


8 But Jesus knowing their wickedness, said: Why do you tempt me, ye hypocrites?


2 And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake: but he that shall persevere unto the end, he shall be saved.


And they began to accuse him, saying: We have found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he is Christ the king.


But they neglected, and went their own ways, one to his farm, and another to his merchandise.


9 And a certain scribe came and said to him: Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou shalt go.


4 If any man after marrying the daughter, marry her mother, he hath done a heinous crime: he shall be burnt alive with them: neither shall so great an abomination remain in the midst of you.


But godliness with contentment is great gain.


8 And Semei said to the king: The saying is good : as my lord the king hath said, so will thy servant do. And Semei dwelt in Jerusalem, many days.


4 And if I shall say to the wicked: Thou shalt surely die: and he do penance for his sin, and do judgment and justice,


And he sent his servants, to call them that were invited to the marriage; and they would not come.
