1 Who, when he was come to us, took Paul's girdle: and binding his own feet and hands, he said: Thus saith the Holy Ghost: The man whose girdle this is, the Jews shall bind in this manner in Jerusalem, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.


And when Paul had imposed his hands on them, the Holy Ghost came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.


And when they had passed through Mysia, they went down to Troas.


Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.


4 And when they were gone out of the ship, immediately they knew him:


3 And they appointed two, Joseph, called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.


And all the men were about twelve.


1 And as they went about to kill him, it was told the tribune of the band, That all Jerusalem was in confusion.
