6 But rise up, and stand upon thy feet: for to this end have I appeared to thee, that I may make thee a minister, and a witness of those things which thou hast seen, and of those things wherein I will appear to thee,


6 And hath made of one, all mankind, to dwell upon the whole face of the earth, determining appointed times, and the limits of their habitation.


1 Our mouth is open to you, O ye Corinthians, our heart is enlarged.


7 For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not to signify the things laid to his charge.


And having tarried among them no more than eight or ten days, he went down to Caesarea, and the next day he sat in the judgment seat; and commanded Paul to be brought.


1 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.


9 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will: and will know, not the speech of them that are puffed up, but the power.


And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was earnest in preaching, testifying to the Jews, that Jesus is the Christ.


6 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.


1 That the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremias might be fulfilled, and the land might keep her sabbaths: for all the days of the desolation she kept a sabbath, till the seventy years were expired.


AND I, brethren, when I came to you, came not in loftiness of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of Christ.


9 And the word of the Lord was published throughout the whole country.


2 And I beseech you, brethren, that you suffer this word of consolation. For I have written to you in a few words.


And you have forgotten the consolation, which speaketh to you, as unto children, saying: My son, neglect not the discipline of the Lord; neither be thou wearied whilst thou art rebuked by him.


4 And it was almost the sixth hour; and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.


9 Who, for a certain sedition made in the city, and for a murder, was cast into prison.


1 And they said: What need we any further testimony? for we ourselves have heard it from his own mouth.


4 So Lot went out, and spoke to his sons in law that were to have his daughters, and said : Arise : get you out of this place, because the Lord will destroy this city. And he seemed to them to speak as it were in jest.


And departing thence, he entered into the house of a certain man, named Titus Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house was adjoining to the synagogue.


1 For by a man came death, and by a man the resurrection of the dead.
