NOW there were in the church which was at Antioch, prophets and doctors, among whom was Barnabas, and Simon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manahen, who was the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.


2 And considering, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, who was surnamed Mark, where many were gathered together and praying.


0 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias. And the Lord said to him in a vision: Ananias. And he said: Behold I am here, Lord.


1 And they were attentive to him, because, for a long time, he had bewitched them with his magical practices.


1 Him hath God exalted with his right hand, to be Prince and Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.


6 Then went the officer with the ministers, and brought them without violence; for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.

8 And alive, and was dead, and behold I am living for ever and ever, and have the keys of death and of hell.


4 Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness?


2 At Damascus, the governor of the nation under Aretas the king, guarded the city of the Damascenes, to apprehend me.


2 You shall teach them and say: Israel passed over this Jordan through the dry channel.
