2 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of part of Macedonia, a colony. And we were in this city some days conferring together.


0 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit that spoke.


Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom, we having apprehended, would also have judged according to our law.


0 And the whole city was in an uproar: and the people ran together. And taking Paul, they drew him out of the temple, and immediately the doors were shut.


7 And in these days there came prophets from Jerusalem to Antioch:


8 And one of them named Agabus, rising up, signified by the Spirit, that there should be a great famine over the whole world, which came to pass under Claudius.


Peter therefore was kept in prison. But prayer was made without ceasing by the church unto God for him.


0 They therefore being dismissed, went down to Antioch; and gathering together the multitude, delivered the epistle.


9 And there arose a dissension, so that they departed one from another; and Barnabas indeed taking Mark, sailed to Cyprus.
