WHAT shall we say then that Abraham hath found, who is our father according to the flesh.


Not by the works of justice, which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us, by the laver of regeneration, and renovation of the Holy Ghost;


Have you suffered so great things in vain? If it be yet in vain.


As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.


8 We have sent also with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel through all the churches.


For we would not have you ignorant,brethren, of our tribulation, which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure above our strength, so that we were weary even of life.


But sin taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.


God forbid. For we that are dead to sin, how shall we live any longer therein?


5 But when it pleased him, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,


And there went out another horse that was red: and to him that sat thereon, it was given that he should take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another, and a great sword was given to him.
