And every man shall sit under his vine, and under his fig tree, and there shall be none to make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken.


6 Saying: What shall we do to these men? for indeed a known miracle hath been done by them, to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem: it is manifest, and we cannot deny it.


2 And they were all astonished, and wondered, saying one to another: What meaneth this?


But Saul made havock of the church, entering in from house to house, and dragging away men and women, committed them to prison.


3 And going up into a mountain, he called unto him whom he would himself: and they came to him.


And by fraud kept back part of the price of the land, his wife being privy thereunto: and bringing a certain part of it, laid it at the feet of the apostles.


5 And he said to them: Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's: and to God the things that are God's.


8 And fear ye not them that kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell.


3 Who turning about and seeing his disciples, threatened Peter, saying: Go behind me, Satan, because thou savorest not the things that are of God, but that are of men.
