The same was in the beginning with God.


1 I have not written to you as to them that know not the truth, but as to them that know it: and that no lie is of the truth.


9 But if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it, lest perhaps you be found even to fight against God. And they consented to him.


3 If so ye continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and immoveable from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, which is preached in all the creation that is under heaven, whereof I Paul am made a minister.


6 Cease not to give thanks for you, making commemoration of you in my prayers,


By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, in all nations, for his name;


6 And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart;


Saying: Why didst thou go in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them?


7 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.


But in them there is made a commemoration of sins every year.


For the fruit of the light is in all goodness, and justice, and truth;


8 And calling them, they charged them not to speak at all, nor teach in the name of Jesus.


2 Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did by him, in the midst of you, as you also know:


And I lifted up my eyes, and I saw: and behold a man clothed in linen, and his loins were girded with the finest gold:


And he led me about through them on every side: now they were very many upon the face of the plain, and they were exceeding dry.


At that time the army of the king o Babylon besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremias the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the house of the king of Juda.


If I shall enter into the tabernacle of my house: if I shall go up into the bed wherein I lie:


Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.


I will give thee understanding, and I will instruct thee in this way, in which thou shalt go: I will fix my eyes upon thee.


For there was a tabernacle made the first, wherein were the candlesticks, and the table, and the setting forth of loaves, which is called the holy.


And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined: and I will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say: Thou art my people: and they shall say: The Lord is my God.


6 Then Nabuchodonosor came to the door of the burning fiery furnace, and said: Sidrach, Misach, and Abdenago, ye servants of the most high God, go ye forth, and come. And immediately Sidrach, Misach, and Abdenago went out from the midst of the fire.


And assembling together all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where Christ should be born.
