5 And after the reading of the law and the prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying: Ye men, brethren, if you have any word of exhortation to make to the people, speak.


0 But he passing through the midst of them, went his way.


5 And from thence, when the brethren had heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii Forum, and the Three Taverns: whom when Paul saw, he gave thanks to God, and took courage.


5 But the wicked spirit, answering, said to them: Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?


To this man the brethren that were in Lystra and Iconium, gave a good testimony.


And when there was an assault made by the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers, to use them contumeliously, and to stone them:


And said to him: Go forth out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.


AND Jesus went unto mount Olivet.


4 And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak to the multitudes concerning John. What went ye out into the desert to see? a reed shaken with the wind?


2 And the next day, which followed the day of preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees came together to Pilate,


3 In humility his judgment was taken away. His generation who shall declare, for his life shall be taken from the earth?


6 Then Paul rising up, and with his hand bespeaking silence, said: Ye men of Israel, and you that fear God, give ear.


And the multitude of the city was divided; and some of them indeed held with the Jews, but some with the apostles.


Him Paul would have to go along with him: and taking him he circumcised him, because of the Jews who were in those places. For they all knew that his father was a Gentile.


0 And when they desired him, that he would tarry a longer time, he consented not;


8 And many of them that believed, came confessing and declaring their deeds.


8 Having heard these things, they were full of anger, and cried out, saying: Great is Diana of the Ephesians.


These going before, stayed for us at Troas.
