5 And when the day was come, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.


6 And there went also with us some of the disciples from Caesarea, bringing with them one Mnason a Cyprian, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.


4 And as soon as she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for joy, but running in she told that Peter stood before the gate.


2 And considering, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, who was surnamed Mark, where many were gathered together and praying.


And Saul arose from the ground; and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. But they leading him by the hands, brought him to Damascus.


1 Who arose, and took the child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.


Then she answered: If I have found Favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please thee, give me my life for which I ask, and my people for which I request.


And Jezabel his wife went in to him, and said to him: What is the matter that thy soul is so grieved? and why eatest thou no bread ?


9 And the Ziphites went up to Saul in Gabaa, saying: Lo, doth not David lie hid with us in the strong holds of the wood, in mount Hachila, which is on the right hand of the desert.


But they supposed that he would begin to swell up, and that he would suddenly fall down and die. But expecting long, and seeing that there came no harm to him, changing their minds, they said, that he was a god.


1 But Paul appealing to be reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept, till I might send him to Caesar.


AND in those days cometh John the Baptist preaching in the desert of Judea.


But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land did obey the words of the Lord, that he spoke in the hand of Jeremias the prophet.


Who having heard the king, went their way; and behold the star which they had seen in the east, went before them, until it came and stood over where the child was.


NOW there were in the church which was at Antioch, prophets and doctors, among whom was Barnabas, and Simon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manahen, who was the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
