0 And as we tarried there for some days, there came from Judea a certain prophet, named Agabus.


To this man the brethren that were in Lystra and Iconium, gave a good testimony.


0 They therefore being dismissed, went down to Antioch; and gathering together the multitude, delivered the epistle.


1 But by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we believe to be saved, in like manner as they also.


And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.


0 And I live, now not I; but Christ liveth in me. And that I live now in the flesh: I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered himself for me.


4 Take these, and sanctify thyself with them: and bestow on them, that they may shave their heads: and all will know that the things which they have heard of thee, are false; but that thou thyself also walkest keeping the law.


And he said to them: Have you received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? But they said to him: We have not so much as heard whether there be a Holy Ghost.


And when they had passed through Phrygia, and the country of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia.


But the unbelieving Jews stirred up and incensed the minds of the Gentiles against the brethren.


2 Then the proconsul, when he had seen what was done, believed, admiring at the doctrine of the Lord.


Then Saul, otherwise Paul, filled with the Holy Ghost, looking upon him,


Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said to them: Ye princes of the people, and ancients, hear:


3 So there arose a dissension among the people because of him.


4 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words: going forth out of that house or city shake off the dust from your feet.


3 And they set up false witnesses, who said: This man ceaseth not to speak words against the holy place and the law.


8 And one of them named Agabus, rising up, signified by the Spirit, that there should be a great famine over the whole world, which came to pass under Claudius.


0 Which also they did, sending it to the ancients, by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.


And the apostles and ancients assembled to consider of this matter.


8 But Paul desired that he (as having departed from them out of Pamphylia, and not gone with them to the work) might not be received.
