After this the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them of the Ammonites, were gathered together to fight against Josaphat.

Wherefore laying away all malice, and all guile, and dissimulations, and envies, and all detractions,


8 By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints:


9 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.


8 But some man will say: Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without works; and I will shew thee, by works, my faith.


0 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing to the Lord.


5 We by nature are Jews, and not of the Gentiles sinners.


3 For judgment without mercy to him that hath not done mercy. And mercy exalteth itself above judgment.


When there shall be found among you within any of thy gates, which the Lord thy God shall give thee, man or woman that do evil in the sight of the Lord thy God, and transgress his covenant,


4 Saying: Master, Moses said: If a man die having no son, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up issue to his brother.


0 Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.


And as he went on his journey, it came to pass that he drew nigh to Damascus; and suddenly a light from heaven shined round about him.


2 And you came all to me, and said: Let us send men who may view the land, and bring us word what way we shall go up, and to what cities we shall go.


1 Not to all the people, but to witnesses preordained by God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he arose again from the dead;


7 That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, and all nations upon whom my name is invoked, saith the Lord, who doth these things.


As David also termeth the blessedness of a man, to whom God reputeth justice without works:


0 And whosoever shall keep the whole law, but offend in one point, is become guilty of all.
