9 In him every one that believeth, is justified.


Simon Peter saith to them: I go a fishing. They say to him: We also come with thee. And they went forth, and entered into the ship: and that night they caught nothing.


0 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.


2 Jesus saith to him: So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee? follow thou me.


As soon then as they came to land, they saw hot coals lying, and a fish laid thereon, and bread.


7 And seeing them they adored: but some doubted.


First I give thanks to my God, through Jesus Christ, for you all, because your faith is spoken of in the whole world.


For which cause, forbearing no longer, we thought it good to remain at Athens alone:


2 Yet now he hath reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unspotted, and blameless before him:


For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee, fell upon me.


But they neglected, and went their own ways, one to his farm, and another to his merchandise.


4 Let me alone that I may destroy them, and abolish their name from under heaven, and set thee over a nation, that is greater and stronger than this.


0 Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan: for it is written, The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt thou serve.


0 For now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that doth not yield good fruit, shall be cut down, and cast into the fire.


3 And when Elias heard it, he covered his face with his mantle, and coming forth stood in the entering in of the cave, and behold a voice unto him, saying: What dost thou here, Elias? And he answered:


3 And when he sent you from Cadesbarne, saying: Go up, and possess the land that I have given you, and you slighted the commandment of the Lord your God, and did not believe him, neither would you hearken to his voice:


And they had no son, for that Elizabeth was barren, and they both were well advanced in years.


0 Keep thy money to thyself, to perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.


6 And the man in whom the wicked spirit was, leaping upon them, and mastering them both, prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.


1 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, without prohibition.
