My tears have been any bread day and night, whilst it is said to me daily : Where is thy God?


6 Jesus answered: He it is to whom I shall reach bread dipped. And when he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.


And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a mighty wind coming, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.


4 Jesus saith to him: Thou hast said it. Nevertheless I say to you, hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven.


2 And the high priest rising up, said to him: Answerest thou nothing to the things which these witness against thee?


5 In that same hour Jesus said to the multitudes: You are come out as it were to a robber with swords and clubs to apprehend me. I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you laid not hands on me.


0 Foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but manifested in the last times for you,


1 And a certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and they laid hold on him.


But of this one thing be not ignorant, my beloved, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.


4 Who came to the chief priests and the ancients, and said: We have bound ourselves under a great curse that we will eat nothing till we have slain Paul.


And there arose a great cry. And some of the Pharisees rising up, strove, saying: We find no evil in this man. What if a spirit hath spoken to him, or an angel?


And they that were with me, saw indeed the light, but they heard not the voice of him that spoke with me.


5 And to this agree the words of the prophets, as it is written:


6 Then Paul and Barnabas said boldly: To you it behoved us first to speak the word of God: but because you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold we turn to the Gentiles.


3 Of this man's seed God according to his promise, hath raised up to Israel a Saviour, Jesus:


0 And delivered him out of all his tribulations: and he gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharao, the king of Egypt; and he appointed him governor over Egypt, and over all his house.


5 Their possessions and goods they sold, and divided them to all, according as every one had need.


1 Foreseeing this, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ. For neither was he left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption.


She ran, therefore, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith to them: They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.


NOW there was a certain man sick, named Lazarus, of Bethania, of the town of Mary and Martha her sister.


5 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were sitting about it, Peter was in the midst of them.


4 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want cast in all she had, even her whole living.


And if a man will touch them, he must be armed with iron and with the staff of a lance: but they shall be set on fire and burnt to nothing.


Which he had promised before, by his prophets, in the holy scriptures,


5 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, Paul speaking this one word: Well did the Holy Ghost speak to our fathers by Isaias the prophet,


1 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him in the synagogues, where he is read every sabbath.


2 And they being very much troubled, began every one to say: Is it I, Lord?


0 And not for them only do I pray, but for them also who through their word shall believe in me;


The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly from temptation, but to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be tormented.


7 In the nine and thirtieth year of Azarias king of Juda, reigned Manahem son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.
